Synopsis
Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-running rivalry reaches its climax. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same location was also used to depict Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. Absolutely incredible – the wit, the innuendo, the humor, the characters, the 80s accuracy, the cast, the locations – it’s TV series perfection. This kind of television has been missing for at least the last decade – it has it all: sentimentality and joy, tears of laughter and sadness, nostalgia on steroids and a cast that plays their roles perfectly. I don’t have a single bad word to say about this series. Hats off to the writers, actors, crew and everyone else involved. This is the second time I’ve seen it because there are too many catchy one-liners you get the first time. Bravo!
